Praxis FAQ
Is it right for us
Can we stop starting RFP responses from a blank page?
Yes. You start each response from a first draft. Praxis reads the customer's RFP and your parts list, pulls out every requirement, checks the parts, and writes a high-level design with a network diagram, all in one Word document. Your engineer reviews and approves the work at each gate, through to final sign-off.
Can our pre-sales engineers focus on design, not first drafts?
Yes. Your engineers put their effort into design choices and customer questions, and Praxis writes the first draft of the technical proposal. It's built for pre-sales and solutions engineers at systems integrators who answer network RFPs.
Can every proposal from our team follow the same standard?
Yes. Every proposal follows the same path, from requirements through design to the finished proposal, with your engineer approving the work at each gate. Your team starts from the same structure every time, whoever is writing.
How it works
Can we show our customer where every requirement came from?
Yes. Each requirement in your proposal points back to its place in the RFP. Praxis gives every requirement an ID, marks it functional or non-functional and mandatory or optional, and cites the RFP section it came from. Your engineer reviews and edits the list before design work starts.
Can Praxis catch part problems and vague requirements before design?
Yes. You see the problems before design starts. Praxis checks each part code in your list and marks it verified, not found or end of sale, and it flags vague requirements as issues. Your engineer resolves any blocking issue before approving the requirements.
Can our engineer choose the design approach?
Yes. Your engineer sets the direction. Praxis proposes design options and asks clarifying questions, and your engineer picks the option the design is built on.
Can Praxis write the high-level design and network diagram for us?
Yes. Praxis writes the high-level design and draws the network diagram to match, grounded in public vendor documentation. Your engineer approves the design, or asks Praxis to revise it in plain words.
Do our engineers keep the final say on every proposal?
Yes. Praxis drafts and your engineer decides. Work moves to the next stage only after your engineer approves it, and they can edit any section or ask Praxis to revise it. Where its sources don't support a point, Praxis marks a gap instead of guessing, so you see what needs your engineer's call.
Your systems and data
Can we start from the RFP and parts list we already have?
Yes. You start with what you already have: the customer's RFP, as a Word or PDF file, and your parts list. Praxis reads both, then pulls out every requirement for your engineer to review.
Can our team edit and finish the proposal and the diagram?
Yes. You get files your team can edit and finish: the technical proposal in Word (.docx) and the network diagram as an editable draw.io file. The proposal includes an executive summary, the high-level design, scope of work and a requirements compliance matrix.
